Heroes of Arkesia,
We recently released a letter from Amazon Games & Smilegate RPG discussing the state of the game and some directional changes we’re excited to make to better support new players and hear feedback from our existing players. While that letter covers the broader initiatives, Roadmap 2023 will dive into the bigger content coming over the next four months.
Before we dive into the content, let’s know that there are some shocked faces out there seeing that the Slayer will arrive before the Aeromancer. Don’t worry, both will come with progression events to help players get ready fast! We saw the high level of anticipation and positive feedback surrounding the Slayer in the West when it released in Korea in January, and coupled with the many requests from our players to try the class, we decided to bring you this class sooner rather than later. than drop it the classes in order. New Continents and Legion Raids need to be upgraded in order, while classes don’t have the same restrictions.
The content you find below are some of the highlights we know players look forward to, but the roadmap is not a complete list of all the changes coming to Arkesia in the coming months, and that may change. The descriptions provided are intended as summaries of the content and do not provide potential lore spoilers. As we get closer to each month, more details will be shared. There will be many more quality of life (QoL) updates, balance tweaks, adjustments to support new and returning players, and unique events. Stay tuned to our website and social channels for future release notes, including the full list of new content, cosmetics, balance changes, events, bug fixes, and more included in our top monthly updates. With that said, let’s dive right in.
May
Slayer Advanced Class
The Slayer is the fifth Warrior Advanced Class, a female remix of the Berserker class. A melee warrior who rocks the battlefield with her greatsword and Burst Mode, this powerful class has the potential to overwhelm anything in her path. Successful attacks with the Slayer fill the Fury Specialty gauge which, when full, can activate Burst Mode. While in Burst Mode, the Slayer’s damage and movement speed are greatly increased, and a special ability called Bloodlust (unique to the Slayer) can be used to unleash powerful slashing and stabbing.
The Slayer will release in May with a powerpass and progression events. Stay tuned to our website and social channels for details on events leading up to the May Update.
Ebony Cube, progression improvements and QoL updates
Clear waves of enemies in a new activity that consolidates Boss Rush and Cube and replaces them. Later this week, we will be posting an alert with information on what will happen to remaining tickets for existing Boss Rush and Cube Jobs.
Progression improvements are also coming. Knowledge transfer has been improved to ease the progression of alternate characters by easing prerequisite conditions and duration. Another change will be added to make it easier for new players to progress. In some entry level Guardian Raids, players will receive free Guardian-related battle items, automatically applied by default, with in-game guidance prompts on when to use them within the raid. When the player leaves the raid, the battle items will be removed. This helps ensure that new players have no difficulty obtaining critical battle items as they go and better prepare them for later raids.
Ebony Cube and new player experience improvements aren’t the only QoL updates coming in May. With rework of entry caps and endgame raid rewards, attention paid to Gunslinger/Deadeye locations and weapon flashes, and more, there’s plenty to enhance every adventurer’s experience in Arkesia .
Proving Grounds Season 3
Season 3 of Competitive Proving Grounds PvP is here. He proves to be one of the best warriors in Arkesia to gain seasonal ranks, rewards and prestige. The season 3 end date has not yet been determined, but he will continue for the foreseeable future. Good luck on the battlefield!

Elgacia continent
The demon invasion starting in South Vern and the powers of the legion commanders are growing with the gates of chaos across the world. With Kazeros’ resurrection near due to the Dimensional Rift, it’s time for the gates of Elgacia to open. Kadan and Nineveh will lead you to Elgacia, the land of Lazeniths. What will happen in the final paradise built by Regulus? Venturing into Elgacia will require item level 1460.
Kayangel Abyssal Dungeon
A 4-player Abyssal dungeon will be released that can be accessed after completing Elgacia’s story. With varying difficulties, a variety of players can participate, but the harder the difficulty, the more impressive the rewards, one of which allows you to upgrade the Ancient Legion Raid gear set bonuses to level 3.
Fortunespire Floors 26 – 50
The next 25 floors of the Tier 3 Tower will be released, providing new battles and challenges to win and, in return, earn valuable rewards.
July
Kakul-Saydon Legion Raid Inferno Mode
The hardest version of Legion Raid, the Inferno difficulty is all about proving you’re among the best in Arkesia and earning the prestige that goes with it. Rather than chasing the normal rewards of gear, materials, and everything else you’d receive in a Legion Raid, Inferno’s rewards instead showcase your victory with titles, achievements, Stronghold structures, and more! Kakul-Saydon’s Inferno difficulty will require item level 1475 and a full setup in the Book of Coordination.
Epilogue of Elgazia
The epilogue quests on the continent of Elgacia will be released a month later. Visit familiar faces and key characters in the world of Arkesia after the events of Elgacia.
Music box of memories and QoL updates
The Music Box of Memories is the remnant of an ancient, long-vanished civilization, manifesting as a gadget that can be played with “Memory Orbs”, a new collectible. Experience new stories from the people of Arkesia who haven’t received the spotlight with the Music Box of Memories. Get hints from various continents and progress quests to collect memory orbs and earn rewards. Along with the Music Box of Memories, more QoL updates will be released in July.

Incursion of the Akkan Legion
After the battle with the plague legion commander Akkan at South Vern, Queen Ealyn kept some of Akkan’s flesh to research the legion commander. However, some pieces have disappeared and have begun to gather in Arthetine. Could it be that Akkan, the bringer of death, has devised a terrible plan to bring back the terrifying power of him?
Aetanople is slowly submerged by water imbued with the power of the disease, and the souls of the deceased still roam the living world, chained by the spells of Akkan. Akkan must be stopped before all of Arkesia succumbs to its horrific rot and decay.
Travel to Arthetine to battle the Plague Legion Commander in a new 8-player Legion Raid. Both normal and hard versions of Legion Raid will be released, each with their own item level requirements.
-
Normal: All 3 gates can be entered with item level 1580
-
Hard: All 3 gates can be entered with item level 1600
Aeromancer Advanced Class
The Aeromancer is the second Specialist Advanced Class. With the power of mystical illusion he is able to manipulate time with devastating effects on the battlefield, or fight to defeat enemies with spectacular flourishes of his umbrella he. The aeromancer’s identity is Sun Shower. Sun Shower’s raindrop meter fills when the Aeromancer successfully hits enemies with skills, and Sun Shower can be used when the meter fills completely, providing double attack and defense benefits. When using Sun Shower, the Aeromancer’s basic attacks and movement ability evolve while active, nearby enemies are constantly damaged, and her (and her party’s) damage received from enemies is reduced.
The Aeromancer will release in August with a powerpass and progression events. Stay tuned to our website and social channels for details on events leading up to the August update.
Sonavel Guardian Raid
For a long time Levanos, the Elemental King, has protected Arkesia by following light and order. He abandoned his mission to protect nature, chose chaos and transformed into Sonavel, obsessed with rage and chasing only darkness. Sonavel must be defeated before he destroys what he once protected! Players can challenge Sonavel in a new Guardian, which requires item level 1580 to participate.

We are excited to see players experience unique events, explore new parts of Arkesia, fight in new PvP battles, and prepare for the challenging experiences that await them in new dungeons and raids in the coming months. In the meantime, stay tuned to our website, social channels, and release notes for the full list of new content, store updates, events, bug fixes, and more in the coming months. See you in Arkesia!
